Student stories
Discover heartfelt stories from our students around the world who have transformed their lives and careers through Ulu Yoga.
I first heard about ULU Yoga through a friend who did the training a year ago, and ever since, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Building myself up to finally come here turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The connections I’ve formed—with the circle of girls, the instructors, and the wider team, including Tanya and Eddie—have been nothing short of beautiful and unforgettable. The course was incredibly well-structured, offering a wide variety of activities such as beach meditations, social dinners, and yoga sessions both indoors and outdoors.

I’m doing the yoga teacher training with Ulu Yoga. I think it’s such a beautiful experience. I’ve met a lot of beautiful people. I’ve had a wonderful time. The teachers are amazing. They go with you through the whole experience, emotionally and physically. It’s really an experience that’s really worth it. And the yoga that I love the most is vinyasa and aerial.

I’ve been practicing yoga for six months. So probably it was a little bit crazy to join the ULU Yoga teaching program, but I wanted to do it for myself—for my personal development and growth. And I’m so grateful that I made this decision. I’ve met so many gorgeous people here—not only the teachers but also the students. All the people were so supportive and inspiring. If you still have doubts about whether this is for you, don’t overthink it. Just book the course at ULU Yoga. For sure, you will be happy, and it will help you in your future life. I’m really grateful, and I want to thank all the people who create this atmosphere, build this school, and bring so much happiness to our lives.

I have absolutely loved doing my 200 hour yoga teacher training here at Ulu Yoga Bali. It has been the most incredible experience. The teachers are unbelievable. It’s such an incredible team and each of them offer you something completely different. There’s been such a wonderful array of different classes. We’ve done Hatha, vinyasa, ashtanga. We’ve also done aerial and acro. And yeah, just the sense of joy and excitement that each different area has brought us has been incredible. And just the people that come to ULU Yoga, like, a lot of us, love the beach, a lot of us have similar interests, and it’s been the most beautiful, aligned community of people. And I’m just so grateful to have chosen ULU Yoga. It has been the most incredible experience and I can’t thank the team and all the people enough.

I’m here on a YTT 200, finding myself, finding happiness, finding peace, finding connection with my mind, with my body, with my soul. My yoga journey has been long and interesting. It has been on and off. And I’m very grateful to finally be in this place, being surrounded by like minded people, inspiring, motivating people who show what yoga truly is, who are teaching from the heart, not from the ego, but teaching from the soul. Sharing their experiences with us, sharing their knowledge with us. We are all coming from completely different paths of life, walks of life. We are here from different countries and somehow we were able to find ourselves in this one spot and spend the time together during these weeks. Sharing our loves, sharing our happiness, sharing our tears, our sorrows.

I am so grateful. I am so happy to have shared this experience with everybody. The level of support within the course and the management team is incredible. The versatility of the course and the things you get to experience is just overwhelmingly nice. And yeah, it’s just been incredible with so many like minded people. So thank you very much.
